Fat Dissolving Injections
Are an injectable treatment containing a compound called deoxycholate acid that works by causing fat destruction in the body. The acid works by disrupting the surface of the fat cells causing them to weaken and become permeable.
Post treatment you need to drink plenty of water to aid the body in draining these liquefied fats through the lymphatic system.
Lidocaine is mixed with the Deso to minimise discomfort. It is common to have some inflammation and tenderness after treatment with some possible swelling. Treatment time is around 15-20 minutes.
