RF microneedling for firmness, scars and texture

At my Derby clinic, RF microneedling combines radio frequency with precise needling to boost collagen, tighten skin and smooth texture.

I use Gentlo with insulated and non-insulated tips to treat all skin types. It delivers controlled heat through tiny needles to the deeper layers of skin. It encourages your own collagen to rebuild, which can help with laxity, fine lines and uneven texture. Because depths are adjustable, I can target different layers from the epidermis into the dermis and selected subcutaneous areas.

It is useful for enlarged pores, acne and acne scarring, surgical scars and stretch marks. I can also treat areas such as the jawline, jowls and under the chin.

Good to know

A course of three sessions is usually recommended, 4–6 weeks apart. From £250 per treatment, depending on the areas being treated. Downtime is typically minimal so most people carry on with their day.

Results and longevity

Results build gradually as collagen remodels over the weeks after treatment. Texture smooths, firmness improves and scars soften across the course. We can plan light maintenance as needed.
